Let's have a look at your Bridge.

Report rate
How often the Bridge hands your inputs to the PC. Full speed is what the box promises.
Haptics strength
Scales the fine rumble the game sends. 1.0 is exactly what the game asked for.

Trigger rumble
Softens the motors inside the triggers. Auto leaves the game in charge.

Idle minutes before the controller powers itself down. 0 keeps it awake.

Status light
The green light on the dongle itself. Low battery still blinks either way.
Light bar color
The strip on the front of the controller. Games set their own color and will override this; the Bridge puts yours back whenever it reconnects.
Microphone
Which mic the PC hears — the controller's own, or a headset in the 3.5 mm jack.
Sound output
Where game audio goes when the Bridge is the sound device.
Speaker boost
Extra gain for the controller's little speaker. Too much will distort it.
Auto
Ignore game volume changes
Stops games from overriding the volume you set yourself.

Which one is this?
Flashes the light bar green. Handy when two controllers are on the table; your game will set the color back.

Press things. Anything that stays lit when you let go, or a stick that won't sit in the middle, is worth telling us about.

Controller type
Tell the PC you're a standard DualSense or an Edge. Automatic picks for you.
Wake the PC with the PS button
Lets the controller bring a sleeping PC back up. Some PCs wake on their own for other reasons.
PS button opens Game Bar
Sends Win+G when you tap PS. Needs a firmware build with the shortcut enabled.
Audio buffer
Lower is tighter, higher is safer. Raise it if headset audio crackles.

Report a USB serial number
Off by default. Only matters to software that tracks controllers individually.
Reconnect to the PC
Unplugs and replugs the Bridge in software. Windows notices a changed controller type this way, without you reaching for the cable.
Start over
Puts every setting on this page back to the factory values.

Everything the Bridge does lives in here, this page included. Updates are free for as long as the dongle exists.

Do it by hand instead

Nothing here is locked down — the automatic route above just saves you the clicking.

  1. Download the .uf2 from blipfrog.com/firmware.
  2. Triple-click the button on the dongle. A drive called RPI-RP2 appears.
  3. Drag the .uf2 onto it. The drive vanishes on its own — that means it worked.

Same thing if an update ever goes wrong: hold the dongle's button while you plug it in and you land on RPI-RP2 no matter what state the firmware is in. There is no way to brick it from this page.

Changes apply the moment you make them, and are written to the dongle a moment later.

If something's off

Mascot motion
The frog hops while it waits and celebrates when your controller links up. Turn it off for a still frog — it still changes with the dongle.
